Robert Edwards was born and raised in Warwick, RI. He graduated from Bishop Hendricken High School before attending Stonehill College in Easton, MA where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Healthcare Administration. During his time at Stonehill College, Dr. Edwards began to develop his passion for a natural approach to healthcare.
After sustaining an upper back and shoulder injury during his freshman year of college, Dr. Edwards sought care from a local chiropractor. He found the chiropractic approach to healthcare to be unlike anything he had ever experienced. The care that he received inspired him to seek a career in chiropractic. Dr. Edwards graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2015. During his time at NYCC, he gained valuable clinical experience while working at the VA Hospital in Canandaigua NY, Monroe Community Hospital, and the Seneca Falls Health Center.
Dr. Edwards utilizes a functional approach in his practice of chiropractic and believes that chiropractic care is most effective when properly complimented by myofascial modalities and proper rehab exercises. This mindset has led him to develop a management and treatment style that truly focuses on patient-centered care. Dr. Edwards uses the best available manual treatment options to get you the results you deserve.
