Meet the Doctor
Robert B. Edwards II, DC
Robert Edwards was born and raised in Warwick, RI. He graduated from Bishop Hendricken High School before attending Stonehill College in Easton, MA where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Healthcare Administration. During his time at Stonehill College, Dr. Edwards began to develop his passion for a natural approach to healthcare.
After sustaining an upper back and shoulder injury during his freshman year of college, Dr. Edwards sought care from a local chiropractor. He found the chiropractic approach to healthcare to be unlike anything he had ever experienced, which inspired him to seek a career in chiropractic. Dr. Edwards went on to graduate with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northeast College of Health Sciences in the Fall of 2015. During his time at NCHS, he gained valuable clinical experience while working at the VA Hospital in Canandaigua NY, Monroe Community Hospital, and the Seneca Falls Health Center.
Dr. Edward's Approach
Dr. Edwards utilizes a functional approach in his practice of chiropractic and believes that chiropractic care is most effective when properly complimented by myofascial modalities and proper rehab exercises. This mindset has led him to develop a management and treatment style that truly focuses on patient-centered care and empowering patients to be active p in their health. Dr. Edwards aims to use only the best available manual therapy techniques combined with c therapy devices such as shockwave therapy and Class IV laser therapy to achieve the fastest possible results for all patients.
Dr. Edwards resides in East Greenwich, RI with his beautiful wife, Andrea, two sons, Eddie and Archie, and their loyal pooch, Como. The Edwards family loves spending their time adventuring around New England, and are always looking forward to their next Disney trip. In his spare time, Dr. Edwards enjoys trying new food, getting in a round of golf, and continually taking courses to expand his expertise.
